We expressly declare that “Cologne List” does not include any recommendation to our athletes for using nutritional supplements. Educational advertising is our exclusive interest! The purpose of using various products has to be verified relating to every single product and individual athlete.
In general we suggest that products made in the USA and China and/or offered via the internet without being mentioned on “Cologne List” should be handled with care.

The publication of a product in „Cologne List“ does not mean that this product is strictly without prohormones respectively anabolic substances and stimulants. The “Cologne List” only highlights a minimized doping risk of the products. The assessment of the doping risk is up to the athlete himself.

The “Cologne List” provides following information for this assessment:

a) Laboratory analysis of individual batches at “Zentrum für präventive Dopingforschung der DSHS Köln”
The analysis of individual batches of products delivers selective results. The products can be tested on anabolic androgenic steroids (prohormones) respectively anabolic substances and stimulants. The research result always refers to the tested batch only. Therefore the batch number as well as the best before date is published on “Cologne List”, too.

b) Manufacturer voluntary self-disclosure
This self-disclosure gives our athletes an orientation about the risk of a contamination of a product during the process of production, processing and distribution. The published information are confirmed by a company representative, who signs the document, it is not verified by Olympic Centre Rhineland.

c) Comment of the manufacturer
All comments of the manufacturer are also confirmed by signature through a company representative, they are not verified by Olympic Centre Rhineland.
